10th Grade Experiences in Lab

          Be brave. Take risks. This is how it goes. I have no idea how hard it is. I have no idea how critical it is. But we tried. At least we tried.

           ICT 10 is hard for it produces new learnings, new ideas, and new information. In the scale of 10, I will rate its difficulty as 10 at the beginning. But when our supportive teacher, Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz explained everything, I rated it's difficulty as 5. There is no "easy" word existing in this world if you won't try to learn and if you won't try to do.

       Experience is really the teacher of all things. Nothing becomes real till we experienced it. Nothing becomes real till we did it.

Goals, Not Dreams

     "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." That is a quote that pertains to dreams. "A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward its achievement." That is a quote that talks about goals. Should it be dreams? Or should it be goals?

     

      Every child has their own dreams.When they grow older, they make it not just a dream but a goal until finally achieve all of it. Thinking of a dream is easy. But doing your goal is hard. 

     A goal without plans is just a dream. You can, you should and you will not just dream, you must set your goals.

Day of Foundation

               Deborah Meier once said, "Good schools like good societies and good families celebrate and cherish diversity." Foundation day is an appointed date on which celebrations mark the founding of a nation, state or a creation of a military unit or of a school. Why is foundation day important to be celebrated?

              Ilocos Sur National High School had their 117th Foundation Day last 2nd day of March 2019. For them, it is a special day of the entire school cause they have a chance to reflect not only the beginnings of the school and its founders but also on the significant development since the school’s foundation. It is a day set aside to celebrate our antiquity and revisit and reconnect with the continuing journey of the school. We celebrate the pleasure of studying as our mind, body and spirit grow. We celebrate the bond that we share with past and present members of the Ilocos Sur National High School Family.

                 Foundation of the school is important because it is us in the future. It is our foundation.
