Deborah Meier once said, "Good schools like good societies and good families celebrate and cherish diversity." Foundation day is an appointed date on which celebrations mark the founding of a nation, state or a creation of a military unit or of a school. Why is foundation day important to be celebrated?
Ilocos Sur National High School had their 117th Foundation Day last 2nd day of March 2019. For them, it is a special day of the entire school cause they have a chance to reflect not only the beginnings of the school and its founders but also on the significant development since the school’s foundation. It is a day set aside to celebrate our antiquity and revisit and reconnect with the continuing journey of the school. We celebrate the pleasure of studying as our mind, body and spirit grow. We celebrate the bond that we share with past and present members of the Ilocos Sur National High School Family.
